WilMap Privacy Policy

WilMap (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit or use our interactive web guide for Wilton Manors (“the Service”).

Location Data: To display your position on our interactive map and show nearby points of interest, WilMap may request access to your device’s location via your browser’s standard Geolocation API. Your location data is processed entirely on your device in real time and is never stored, logged, or tracked on our servers. You can disable location permissions at any time through your browser settings.

Local Storage & Cookies: We use standard browser localStorage to save your session preferences (such as dismissing site banners, map display settings, or saved favorite spots). This data remains locally on your device and is not sold or analyzed.

Contact & Feedback Submissions: If you submit feedback, report a missing venue, or contact us through our website, we collect the information you voluntarily provide (such as your email address and message content) solely to respond to your inquiry and improve WilMap.

Usage Analytics: We may collect non-personally identifiable, aggregated web traffic analytics (such as browser type, page views, and general region) to monitor platform performance and optimize the user experience.

WilMap utilizes trusted third-party service providers to deliver map tiles, host infrastructure, and route form communications:

Map Rendering & Hosting: Map data and infrastructure are powered by modern cloud and vector map providers (e.g., Mapbox, MapTiler, or Lovable hosting). These services process technical network requests (like IP addresses) necessary to deliver map layers to your device.

External Links: Our directory contains links to third-party business websites, event pages, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or location history to advertisers, marketers, or third parties.

We implement standard industry security measures (including HTTPS encryption) to protect network transmissions and form data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically as WilMap grows and introduces new features. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please contact us at info@wiltonedge.com.
